India declared one-day national mourning on July 9 in respect of Former Japanese PM Abe Shinzo assassinated this morning while delivering a campaign speech.
He will always be remembered as a great friend of India.

In one of the latest tweets made by PM Modi, he said “As a mark of our deepest respect for former Prime Minister Abe Shinzo, a one day national mourning shall be observed on 9 July 2022.”
