PM Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the 26th National Youth Festival in Hubbali, Karnataka on 12th January 2023 at around 4 PM. The event is being organised on the occasion of National Youth Day, which is celebrated on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekanand, to celebrate and honour what he preached, imparted, left for humanity and his contributions.
India holds the National Youth Festival annually to pave for the talented youth to get an exposure at the national level, along with encouraging them to participate and contribute in nation-building. It brings to the fore the cultural diversity that India is blessed with as it provides a common platform to participants from across the country to showcase glimpses of their distinct and unique culture, uniting them in the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’. The event is being hosted in Hubballi-Dharwad in Karnataka from 12th to 16th January, with the theme of “Viksit Yuva – Viksit Bharat”.
