Lucknow: The Department of Economics, BBAU organises a big farewell to former Vice Chancellor and Prof. NMP Verma among many professors, guests and students today. Prof. Verma was greeted by current Vice Chancellor Prof. Shiv Kumar Dwivedi and his colleagues present on the ocassion.
During the farewell, teachers and employees expressed their feelings and professional journey with Prof. Verma who was honest and hard working academician who contributed 100 research papers, many books and chapters published with national and international publishers.
This is worth mentioning that Prof. Verma was among 16 founding teaching members who were recruited in first batch at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow. He become Vice Chancellor twice in the same varsity, which happens rare. All professors praised to his marvelous contribution in acadmics and research. He contributed to the varsity in from a sketch and had lot of credits to his score.
The farewell was organised by the teachers and employees at Department of Economics under the guidance of Prof. Sanatan Nayak, Head of Department.
Prof. Verma said that the event is not Good Bye and I am always available to students and employees.
