Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies organizes its annual cultural fest ‘Varchasva’ at Dilli Haat with grandeur and enthusiasm. This two-day event, held in two phases on November 13 and 16, commenced in the college auditorium and concluded with a grand finale at Dilli Haat. The event was guided by the leadership of Mr. Ram Kailash Gupta, Chairman of Tecnia Group of Institutions, whose inspiration and direction played a vital role in its success.
The event was graced by Dr. Rehman Musawwir, a professor in the Hindi Department at Jamia Millia Islamia and a renowned literary figure, as the special guest. He extended his best wishes to the students and appreciated their creativity. During the closing ceremony, Dr. Ajay Kumar, Director of Tecnia Institute of Advanced Studies, distributed prizes to the winners and highlighted the significance of such events in honing students’ talents. He emphasized that programs like ‘Varchasva’ provide a platform for youth to showcase their creativity and social responsibilities. Dr. Kumar also reiterated the commitment of Tecnia Group of Institutions to the cultural and academic development of its students.
The fest featured a wide range of exciting competitions, including classical and western dance, street plays, solo singing, poster making, poetry, debates, fashion shows, and photography. Students from prominent colleges across Delhi-NCR participated, including Ramjas College and Hansraj College of Delhi University, as well as Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS) and Gitaratan International Business School (GIBS) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
The participants showcased immense enthusiasm and energy throughout the event. Performances like the fashion show, solo dance, and group dance mesmerized the audience and kept the festive spirit alive. The highlight of the event was the announcement of Mr. and Ms. Varchasva, with Ishan and Dyanshi Sharma winning the prestigious titles for their exceptional performances.
On this occasion, Dr. Ajay Kumar remarked that such events are not only integral to the curriculum but also provide hands-on experience in event management. Dean Academics, Dr. M.N. Jha, assured that the institute would continue to organize similar programs in the future to provide a strong platform for the younger generation to showcase and develop their talents.
