Manoj Pal<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Jammu &amp; Kashmir, Tuesday, December 20, 2022: The security forces in a joint operation with J&amp;K Police gun down 3 Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist linked with killing of Kashmiri Pundits in an encounter in Shopian district.&nbsp; The terrorist reportedly are local Kashmiri terrorists.&nbsp; Two terrorists have been identified as Lateef Lone and Umar Nazir of Shopian and Anantnag respectively.&nbsp; As per Kashmir Zone Police, these terrorists were involved in killing of Pandit Shri Purana Krishna Bhat and Till Bahadur Thapa of Nepal.&nbsp; 01 AK 47 rifles, 2 pistols, magazines and ammunition have been recovered from the possession of slain terrorists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Shopian and Anantnag district of Kashmir have been fertile area of terrorist.&nbsp; Due to winter and heavy snowfall in Kashmir, crossing the border leaving no track to security forces have become difficult. Besides, the security forces have tracking equipment and intelligence network.&nbsp; The encounter commenced on a specific intelligence input by the police through their intelligence network and the team surrounded the Munjh Marg area of Shopian.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; It was reported that to chock the funding to secessionists activities and to dismantle the ecosystem of anti-national and terrorist activities in the state of J&amp;K, the State Investigating Agency seized properties of Jamat-e-Islami (Jel) worth crores of rupees in the districts of Baramulla, Bandipora, Ganderbal and Kupwara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Dealing the terrorism with iron fist is leading to elimination of terrorists in greater numbers.&nbsp; The people of Kashmir have seen lot of blood bath for more than 30 years and understood the mechanism of separatist in Jammu and Kashmir.&nbsp; Now the security forces with active support of J&amp;K Police, intelligence agencies and good locals has tightened the noose over the terrorists\u2019 outfits to prevail the peace in the UT of J&amp;K.
